Profile
Dr Christopher Lim is a Board Registered Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon qualified in both medicine and dentistry. His training is from Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand with primary interests in the surgical management temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction with arthroscopy and TMJ replacement, being a Fellow of the American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons. Other core interests includes orthognathic, facial trauma and third molar surgery. Dr Lim was previously a senior consultant in NZ with extensive experience in all of these areas. He was also previously a supervisor of training for several years.
Research
Dr Lim has published and presented widely and regularly speaks on TMJ surgery around the world. He has many papers published in peer reviewed journals on facial trauma and the use of 3D digital technology in facial reconstruction.
