Cancer patients can take advantage of several outpatient allied health services who have partnered with the San.
Dietitian – Four Seasons Dietetics
Four Seasons Dietetics provide outpatient dietitian services to cancer patients with the aim to optimise their treatment journey and recovery. Their team of passionate Dietitians and Nutritionists are dedicated to help people learn more about nutrition and improve overall health, and they provide tailored nutrition care plans using the latest evidence-based interventions and a patient-centred approach.
Please note this outpatient service is separate to the inpatient dietitian service available for patients while admitted to hospital.
Exercise Clinic – Crunch Studio (Oncology Fitness)
Crunch Studio provides an outpatient exercise clinic within the Cancer Support Centre. Crunch Studio has been specialising in oncology fitness for the past 10 years, focussing on meeting individual goals through movement in fitness and strength to improve the wellbeing of each client whether this is pre, during or post treatment and surgery. Oncologists are recommending exercise as beneficial to treatment and can even make a 40% difference to outcomes.
Lymphoedema Clinic – Lymphoedema & Surgical Physiotherapy
Lymphoedema & Surgical Physiotherapy provide an outpatient lymphoedema clinic located within the San Integrated Cancer Centre. Their primary goal is to reduce the incidence of lymphoedema in surgical oncological breast and melanoma patients. Offering end to end care and working closely with health care teams ensures optimal outcomes for patients.

Oncology Massage – Amy Tyler Therapeutic Massage
Amy Tyler Therapeutic Massage offers an oncology massage service at the San Cancer Support Centre. Oncology Massage is a gentle, nurturing and non-invasive treatment that takes into consideration all the changes that occur to your body, physically and emotionally, once a diagnosis of cancer and treatment occurs. The massage is modified to make it safe during all parts of the cancer journey, whether you have just been diagnosed, are undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy, or are in palliation or survivorship.
Speech Pathology – The Speech Studio
The Speech Studio Wahroonga provide consultations at the San Integrated Cancer Centre. Their accredited speech pathologists have over 20 years’ experience in providing holistic, patient focused and compassionate care to outpatients. The practice has a focus on swallowing and communication impairments with specific skills in both cancer management and other medical areas.

Psychology – HeadwayHealth Clinical & Consulting Psychology Services
At the San we recognise the importance of providing care for the whole person throughout their cancer journey. For the last 10 years the Northern Haematology and Oncology Group have partnered with HeadwayHealth's team of Clinical and Consulting Psychologists to provide outpatient appointments within the San Integrated Cancer Centre. Confidential counselling and psychological interventions are offered to patients, family and carers. We aim to support your wellbeing and quality of life during and after the completion of treatment.
